I dreamt I had a ladder
That reached the sky.
And I climbed and I climbed
But couldn't get high.
Always too close to the ground.
Always too far from the stars.
I soon let go of that ladder
And let myself fall
I plummeted to the earth in a fury of flames
Which didnt hurt me
No, not a second of pain
Falling down to the earth
I opened my eyes
Realized I froze all space and time,
not long untill I collide
With the very thing I tried to cheat
the vacuum took me
I grew weak,
I closed my eyes
I took a breath
To my surprise, my body had rested
On a puffy cloud below my ladder
I climbed back down
Feeling much much better
